Bob Rumanzi

Bob Rumanzi, a former journalist turned passionate vegan advocate, is the founder of Vegan Village Society Uganda. For the past eight years, he has championed compassion for animals, sustainable living, and plant-based nutrition across communities. His organization empowers rural farmers and women’s groups to grow vegan foods, and also organizes the annual Vegan Festival in Uganda. Through his leadership, Bob inspires a new generation to embrace kindness toward animals and the environment. His journey from media to vegan activism reflects his commitment to creating a more just, healthy, and cruelty-free world.
