An oasis of biodiversity: the no-spray philosophy

Length: 65 min.

Take a tour of Jimmy Videle’s veganic farm at the height of the growing season! The Veganic Summit team took a roadtrip this summer to see how this biodiverse farm has become an oasis for a wide variety of native fauna. From wildflower patches to rewilding to hand-digging a pond, you’ll see how Jimmy Videle has attracted and provided homes for animal species, from bumblebees to snapping turtles. He’ll also share how a biodiverse farm leads to fewer issues with insects eating the crops, plus the strategies they do use (like physical barriers) to protect their key crops without using insecticides, as part of their no-spray philosophy.
